So, after knitting with the gang and watching some of the big college game with S and L, Himself and I headed to a bookstore. Nothing specific in mind, but I like to scan the craft section for new knitting books.
I'm buying fewer pattern books these days and focusing on the knitting stories. The Knit Lit series, etc. Today I found the Yarn Harlot's latest! Woo-hoo! It's called "Things I Learned From Kntting...whether I wanted to or not". I'm not sure about what copyright laws cover, so I won't quote anything here, but I can tell you this much. I laughed, I smiled, I yelled, "Yeah!".
And that was just during the introduction.
If the roads around here were better, I could have read in the car while Himself drove. Kinda hard to do when your head is rattling around like a pinball. No matter. I had no problem entertaining myself by alternate means, namely the ever-popular mommy-to-be game of "Name That Bump". Junior pokes out a hand, foot or what have you, and Mommy or Daddy will poke back.
A little like tug o' war, minus the rope.
