Bohica!

Oh, Lord. More heavy weather brewing, and we're still reeling from the last onslaught. Downed limbs and split trunks all over town. It's sad to see, but this is Kansas, Land of "Look out!"

In the meantime, I have finished the Doc Socks. Well, almost. You can't really say you've finished until you finish the finishing. Gotta weave in the ends, then I'll be finished. Finally.

Enough with the F's!

We're getting into the performance season with a vengeance. Booked pretty much every weekend, and even double-booked some days. Take this Saturday. It's the start of the Living History tour season at the Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve, so we'll be out there from about nine until four. When we get back, we get to party with S and L and assorted others. Woo-hoo! Bring on the beer! Root beer, that is.

It continues from there. Churches, USO shows, more tours... we're even looking for a time for our band to head up to a nearby college town so we can try our hands at being street musicians. Half the population of said town lived through the sixties, so our vast repertoire of Beatles music should go over rather well.

And even if it doesn't, it's just for fun, anyway. That's why it's called "playing music".

Sounds like a very busy and fun summer is planned. Little Himself will love all the attention he will get.
