A quick update for the benefit of those of you who have tuned in late:

I walked (okay, hobbled) into the yarn shop a couple of days ago and was greeted with stares and shouts of, "Wow, he's really dropped!". The folks at work have started a "baby pool" at a buck a pop. All of the women say I'm going to go early, the men say I'm going late. We shall see..
Taking Mom to rheumatology tomorrow. With any luck, I'll find a place with a good wireless connection and I can post yarn and sock pictures. I'm going to have a hard time keeping the socks away from Mom long enough to get a decent picture of them, I'd wager. Keep your fingers crossed! In the meantime, I'm heading home for some soup and a nap. Stay tuned for further news. Same bat time, same bat channel.
But first, a trip to the bat-room.
